Dhavani is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning sound or vibration.  Our Moyo Drum line are drums in pentatonic scales, tuned in A-440, standard western tuning.  Each drum in the Dhavani Drum line is either an alternative scale or an alternative tuning.  Some Dhavani Drums are tuned to A-440, standard western tuning, but they will have an alternative, non-pentatonic, scale.  Other Dhavani Drums may have standard pentatonic scales but are tuned in highly desired alternative hertz numbers.  Most Dhavani Drums are best suited for Vibration Therapy, meditation, or personal relaxation.

During the pandemic in 2020 we used some of our time to redesign many of the Dhavani Drums. For years we have had requests to put the heart center note in the Dhavani Drums, so we have worked on many of the Dhavani Drums and redesigned some of them with the heart note center. The hertz tones in each of these are the same, though some of them have required a scale change. The new videos and stock drums with the hearts will be added as they are available. Please note some of the drums can NOT get a heart note in the center, some just don’t work out.
